Irish National Squads
Badminton Ireland has National Squads which take place three times a season at the National Indoor Arena in Blanchardstown D15. Teams will be selected to represent Ireland from these squads. The first squad will take place on January 30th and is open to all players that would like to try out.
For consideration into the various National Squads please register by completing the following Player Registration Form by Friday the 7th January 2022. The cost of all three squads is €45; €15 euro for the opening squad and an additional €15 per each squad players are invited to attend.
Players applying for the U19 or Senior squad must have met one of the below Criteria to be considered for the squad

Players who have reached Irish sports council carding level and are currently competing on the International circuit can attend the national squads but it is not compulsory.

Players can be selected for multiple national teams but they must attend the national squad for the age group they currently fall into. Any player failing to attend their national squad without good reason will remove themselves from a selection.
