Student Coaching Bursary

Who is it for?

This scheme aims to encourage more students to enter the coaching profession by providing them with the opportunity to utilize their skills, in a sport that they love, while developing their coaching knowledge and experience.

Aim of the scheme:

• To appoint student bursary coaches to work in clubs across the country.
• To increase the volunteer workforce to ensure sustainability in clubs
• To improve the amount, and quality of coaching in clubs
• To provide a supportive environment for student coaches to enter the coaching profession

Who can apply:

• Are you a student aged 18 or above?
• Studying in third level education?
• Are you interested in coaching badminton?
• Do you want to further your coaching qualifications and experiences?
