Data Protection Policies

There are some significant changes to Data Protection legislation which came into effect on 25 May 2018 which will have an impact on how Badminton Ireland, at all levels, engages with its members. It is also important that every affiliated Badminton Club, and indeed every member of Badminton Ireland, is aware of how these changes in the law will affect the ways in which members’ personal information can be collected and used for the administration of our sport.

Badminton Ireland has created a suite of policies which can be adopted by our affiliated bodies to be compliant with GDPR and Data Protection legislation.

Please see below links to our Data Protection policies:

Badminton Ireland Data Protection Policy

Badminton Ireland Privacy Policy

Badminton Ireland Data Subject Rights Policy

Badminton Ireland Retention Policy

This suite of policies will be updated and reviewed on a regular basis.
