In terms of processing data within our clubs and affiliated bodies, the following checklist will enable clubs to manage this process in accordance with GDPR.

 

 •Review what information you are taking and what the purpose for this is

 

•Be sure the information you are receiving is accurate and up-to-date

 

•Implement BI Data Protection Policies with regards to retention and security

 

•Ensure only club officers have access to information that they need

 

•Ensure you have suitable physical security in place

 

•Ensure you contact Badminton Ireland in the event of a data breach

 

•Do not pass on members data to Third Parties
